Competencies

Die Studierenden sind zum kritischen und präzisen Umgang mit den Begriffen Raum und Zeit fähig und verfügen über die Fertigkeit im Rechnen mit Lorentz-Vektoren und -Tensoren und deren Anwendung auf konkrete physikalische Probleme. Sie sind vertraut mit dem mathematischen Gerüst der Quantenmechanik und können diese auf konkrete physikalische Systeme anwenden. Sie haben ein Verständnis der physikalischen Interpretation des mathematischen Apparates und dem Aufbaus der Atome entwickelt.

Für die Übungen zu der Vorlesung müssen wöchentlich in der Regel 4-6 Aufgaben bearbeitet und in den Übungsstunden vorgerechnet werden. Um diese Studienleistung erbringen zu können, ist ebenfalls eine Nacharbeitung anhand von Physik-Lehrbüchern erforderlich. Die zu bearbeitenden Übungsaufgaben werden jeweils eine Woche vorher ausgegeben.
