Competencies

Das Modul befähigt die Studierenden zu einer kritischen Reflexion der fachwissenschaftlichen Methoden und Prämissen. Es regt zu einer konstruktiven Auseinandersetzung mit interdisziplinären Theorieimpulsen an und ermöglicht den Studierenden auf diese Weise, sich methodisch für spezifische Berufsfelder zu qualifizieren.

Content of teaching

Im Zentrum dieses Moduls stehen Literaturtheorie, Gattungstheorie sowie Wissenschafts- / Fachgeschichte, aber auch die traditionellen literaturwissenschaftlichen Disziplinen Rhetorik, Poetik und Ästhetik. Es geht hier um die Reflexion der eigenen Methoden (hermeneutische, rezeptionsästhetische, strukturalistische und diskurstheoretische Ansätze), deren historische Genese und die Diskussion aktueller Literatur-, Kultur- und Medientheorien. In kritischer Auseinandersetzung mit eigenen wie fachfremden Theoriemodellen soll in dem Modul nicht nur das Instrumentarium der Texterschließung erweitert und modifiziert werden, sondern auch die Grenzen der Konzeption des Faches in systematischer Hinsicht thematisiert werden. Unter kulturwissenschaftlicher Prämisse wird dabei das Verhältnis der Texte zum geistes- und ideengeschichtlichen, philosophischen, soziokulturellen, politischen und ökonomischen Kontext erörtert.

Der Umfang der Studienleistungen entspricht im Durchschnitt 15 Stunden (0,5 Leistungspunkte) bzw. 1 Stunde pro Semesterwoche. Die Formen der Erbringung von Studienleistungen können je nach dem Charakter der Veranstaltung und methodendidaktischer Schwerpunktsetzung
variieren. Es handelt sich dabei insbesondere um:
a) die Erarbeitung und Durchführung einer Präsentation (auch als Gruppenarbeit),
b) das Verfassen kürzerer Texte zu Themen der Vorlesung,
c) die Durchführung eines praxis- oder forschungsbezogenen Projektes (auch als Gruppenarbeit),
d) das kontinuierliche Bearbeiten von Übungsaufgaben in Kursen, bei denen das Erlernen eher analytischer Methoden im Vordergrund steht.
