In diesem Modul wird ein vertieftes Verständnis zwischen dem makroskopischen Verhalten und der makroskopischen Beobachtung von Materie und Stoffen, sowie den zugrundeliegenden mikro- und mesoskopischen Eigenschaften und physikalisch-chemischen Gesetzen vermittelt.

Inhaltlich werden die Eigenschaften und das Verhalten von Materie auf verschiedenen Skalen (Mikro-, Meso-, und Makroskala) betrachtet.
