Competencies

In der Veranstaltung wird der Umgang mit quantenchemischen Rechenmethoden erlernt. Sie vermittelt Basiswissen, das die Grundlage für Forschungsarbeiten (z.B. im Rahmen einer Bachelorarbeit), die theoretisch-chemische Aspekte beinhalten, bildet. Zudem werden weitergehende Kenntnisse im Umgang mit computerbasierten Lösungsstrategien erworben.

Content of teaching

Das praktische Erlernen quantenchemischer Methoden, ihre Anwendung auf chemische Problemstellungen und der kritische Umgang mit diesen Techniken ist zentraler Inhalt des Moduls.

Recommended previous knowledge

Die Kenntnisse aus Modul Theoretische Chemie - Vertiefung (Modul 21-M34) werden erwartet.
