Students will be able to apply techniques from the area of data analytics. Students will learn programming skills and be able to use these for data analytics. Students will be able to apply the skills they learn to industrial problems.
Die Studierenden sind in der Lage, Techniken aus dem Bereich Datenanalyse anzuwenden. Die Studierenden erlernen Programmierkenntnisse und können diese für die Datenanalyse nutzen. Die Studierenden sind in der Lage, die erlernten Fähigkeiten auf industrielle Probleme anzuwenden.
The module covers topics concerned with data: analyzing data, storing data, and mining data. Students is shown how to program in the language Python and use it for the aforementioned topics. Data storage in databases with basic SQL is described, various data cleaning and normalization methods are shown, and supervised and unsupervised learning techniques are covered. Students will understand how to apply the techniques, as well as learn how they work.
Das Modul behandelt Themen, die mit Daten zu tun haben: Datenanalyse, Datenspeicherung und Data Mining. Den Studierenden wird gezeigt, wie man in der Sprache Python programmiert und diese für die oben genannten Themen verwendet. Datenspeicherung in Datenbanken mit Basis-SQL wird beschrieben, verschiedene Datenbereinigungs- und Normalisierungsmethoden werden gezeigt und überwachte und unbeaufsichtigte Lerntechniken werden behandelt. Die Studenten werden verstehen, wie man die Techniken anwendet und wie sie arbeiten.

The concept of the practical exercises varies and can vary from semester to semester. In principle, the practical exercises are designed so that a workload (including contact hours) of 60 working hours results.
Die Konzeption der Praktischen Übungen variiert und kann in den einzelnen Semestern unterschiedlich ausfallen. Grundsätzlich werden die Praktischen Übungen so gestaltet, dass ein Arbeitsaufwand (inkl. Kontaktstunden) von 60 Arbeitsstunden entsteht.

Portfolio of four exercises or programming tasks (workload of 10-15 working hours each), which are provided during the course and a final exam (generally 60 minutes). The exercises and programming tasks supplement and deepen the content of the lecture.
An overall evaluation with a weighting of 60 (exercises or programming tasks): 40 (final written exam) is carried out. The final written exam can be omitted for an important reason in exceptional cases. It will be replaced by further exercises or programming tasks with an additional workload of 10 working hours.
Or: 1,5 hour written exam.
The person responsible for the module designates one or more persons authorized to take the module examination as examiners.
Portfolio aus vier Übungs- bzw. Programmieraufgaben (Arbeitsaufwand jeweils 10-15 Arbeitsstunden), die veranstaltungsbegleitend gestellt werden und einer Abschlussklausur (in der Regel 60 Minuten). Die Übungsaufgaben bzw. Programmieraufgaben ergänzen und vertiefen den Inhalt der Vorlesung.
Es erfolgt jeweils eine abschließende Gesamtbewertung mit einer Gewichtung von 60 (Übungs- bzw. Programmieraufgaben) : 40 (Abschlussklausur). Aus wichtigem Grund im Ausnahmefall kann die Abschlussklausur entfallen. An die Stelle treten weitere Übungs- bzw. Programmieraufgaben mit einem weiteren Arbeitsaufwand von 10 Arbeitsstunden.
Oder: 1,5-stündige Klausur.
Der Modulverantwortliche bestimmt einen oder mehrere prüfungsberechtigte Personen als Prüfer der gesamten Modulprüfung.
