1996-1997: Research assistant at the chair of Prof. A. Knoll in the Technical Faculty of the University of Bielefeld in the project 'LANeCo: Local Area Net Configuration'.

1998- 2018: Work in the BIS - Bielefeld Information System at Bielefeld University

Since October 2018: Head of the department Information Systems and Process Support at BITS.
