Curriculum Vitae

I worked as a teacher and TEFL lecturer at several schools and universities in Hesse and Lower Saxony. Since April 2022 I am a lecturer for Teaching English as a Foreign Language at Bielefeld University with a special emphasis on teaching English in primary school and researching in the foreign language classroom.

Current research topics

Current research interests:

- Teacher training and teacher professionalization
- Task-Based Language Teaching in the primary and secondary EFLC / Complex competence tasks
- Literary texts in the EFLC / Developing competences through literature
