The subject-specific regulations and module manuals contain information as to whether performances (only applicable to Studies model 2011)/individual performances/(part) module examinations are expected and which requirements do exist.

Contents, comment

Was muss ich beachten, wenn ich mir einen neuen Laptop anschaffen möchte? Mit welcher Software kann ich Interviews transkribieren? Wie kann ich dafür sorgen, dass mein Rechner und meine Daten sicher sind? In sechs dreistündigen Sitzungen sollen in dem Seminar zentrale EDV-Kenntnisse vermittelt werden, die nicht nur bei der Arbeit an einer Dissertation hilfreich sind. Von den sechs Sitzungen sollten mindestens fünf besucht werden, die Sitzung "Security" ist Pflicht.

- Hardware (z.B. Anschaffung und Tuning von Laptops, Möglichkeiten von Smartphones/Tabs, Geräteleihe)
- Security (z.B. Eigener Rechner, Phishing, Scareware)
- Software (z.B. Literaturverwaltung, Transkription, Bildbearbeitung)
- Websitenprofile und Literaturlistenpflege (PUB - Publikationsdienst der Uni Bielefeld)
- Digitalisierung (z.B. Scannen und PDF-Bearbeitung)
- Organisation von Daten (z.B. Wissenschaftliche Netzwerke, Online-Speicher und ihre Risiken)

Es ist auch möglich, weitere Themenwünsche einzubringen. Einzelne Bereiche können als Praxisseminar gestaltet werden, so dass die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer die Inhalte direkt umsetzen können.
