Competencies

After completing the module, you will be able to describe the theoretical foundations of psychological performance management and leadership training. You will be able to differentiate between intervention methods and working methods. You will be able to implement selected techniques, plan their implementation in sport-specific situations, and evaluate the measures using quantitative methods. In this way, you will develop a toolkit for your own work in teaching and training. At the same time, you will acquire skills that enable you to act professionally and goal-oriented in professional conversations. You will be able to apply and evaluate different working methods in team building. You will distinguish between different management forms and adapt communication strategies accordingly.

Content of teaching

In the course "Psychological Aspects of Performance Management," you will gain in-depth knowledge of current theories and methodological principles of psychological support and counseling. You will acquire practical skills in relaxation and self-regulation techniques, the development of routines, and the use of visual strategies to improve self-control and optimize action. You will also learn how psychological support in rehabilitation supports the recovery process. Using psychophysical evaluation methods such as eye tracking, you will analyze cognitive and emotional processes. Finally, you will develop and analyze questionnaires (e.g., on action orientation, attention, intelligence, stress, and recovery) to identify individual strengths and weaknesses and develop targeted measures to improve performance.

In the "Leadership Training and Team Building" course, you will learn effective conflict resolution strategies to act confidently in difficult situations. You will explore the functional and work structures of coaching, supervision, and mentoring to select appropriate leadership techniques. You will also expand your knowledge of various organizational and management forms, such as group work and project management. In the area of team building, you will focus on developing structures and roles to promote cohesion and performance within your teams. This knowledge will support you in improving your leadership skills, for example, in performance appraisals, and in leading teams successfully.
