Competencies

Studierende haben einen Einblick in aktuelle Entwicklungen und Konzepte von Biologie, Kunst und Medien, sowie einen ersten Einblick in die aktuelle Literatur zu diesen Themen. Sie besitzen Kommunikations-Kompetenzen über das eigene Fach hinaus und können ein Projektes zu einem interdisziplinären Themenkomplex im genannten Spannungsfeld eigenständig planen, durchführen, präsentierend in den jeweiligen Fachhintergrund einordnen und kritisch diskutieren.

Content of teaching

Im Modul wird der interdisziplinäre Dialog zwischen Kunst, Gesellschaft, Naturwissenschaft und Medien erfahren und aktuelle Themen präsentiert. Das spezifische Vokabular, die Vorgehensweise und die fachspezifischen Argumentationen werden vorgestellt. Aufbauend auf einer theoretischen Basis im künstlerischen und biologischen Bereich, werden themenspezifisch praktisch ausgerichtete, interdisziplinäre Projekte mit biologischen, künstlerischen und medienwissenschaftlichen Anteilen entwickelt.

Die Modulprüfung umfasst die Konzeption und Ausführung einer eigenen künstlerisch-praktischen Arbeit. Wesentlicher Bestandteil der Präsentation ist die Reflexion des Entstehungsprozesses.
Kriterien bei der Beurteilung der Arbeit sind:

  • individuelle Konzeption,
  • eigenständige Umsetzung,
  • anspruchsvolle Ausführung,
  • angemessene Präsentation.
