Module 39-M-Inf-INT-adv Advanced Interaction Technology

Studierende erwerben in diesem Modul fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse über Theorien und Modelle der Interaktion und Kommunikation sowie über fortgeschrittene technische Methoden aus einem der Bereiche: Erkennung, Verarbeitung, Lernen oder Generierung von interaktivem Verhalten in künstlichen Agenten. Nach Abschluss des Moduls sind die Studierenden in der Lage multimodales interaktives oder kommunikatives Verhalten (z.B. Sprache, Emotionen, non-verbales Verhalten, koordiniertes Handeln) zu analysieren und entsprechend in Interaktionssystemen zu generieren.

Students acquire advanced knowledge in this module about theories and models of interaction and communication as well as advanced technical methods from one of the areas: Recognition, processing, learning, or generation of interactive behavior in artificial agents. Upon completion of the module, students will be able to analyze multimodal interactive or communicative behaviors (e.g., speech, emotions, non-verbal behaviors, coordinated actions) and generate them accordingly in interaction systems.

Das Modul vermittelt vertiefende theoretische und methodische Kenntnisse notwendig für die Entwicklung von interaktiven Mensch-Maschine-Systemen. Zu den Lehrinhalten des Moduls gehören u.a. Veranstaltungen aus den Bereichen: Brain-Machine Interfaces, soziale und kollaborative Robotik, Intelligente Assistenzsysteme, Dialogsysteme und konversationale Agenten, Natural Language Processing, Multimodal Behavior Processing, Explainable AI, Dialogtheorien, kognitive Mechanismen der sozialen Interaktion. Die konkreten Lehrinhalte des Moduls werden durch die vom Studierenden gewählten Veranstaltungen festgelegt. Die Wahl aus dem dafür ausgewiesenen Lehrangebot erfolgt nach persönlichem Interesse.

The module provides in-depth theoretical and methodological knowledge needed to develop interactive human-machine systems. The module's teaching content includes courses in the areas of brain-machine interfaces, social and collaborative robotics, intelligent assistance systems, dialogue systems and conversational agents, natural language processing, multimodal behavior processing, explainable AI, dialogue theories, and cognitive mechanisms of social interaction. The courses chosen by the student determine the specific teaching content of the module. The choice of the designated courses is based on personal interest.
