Competencies

Die Studierenden beherrschen Methoden der Stochastischen Analysis. Weiterhin können sie die bislang erlernten Kenntnisse und Methoden auf mathematische Anwendungsfelder (z.B. aus der Finanzmathematik) übertragen und dort anwenden. Aufgrund einer weiteren und intensiveren Auseinandersetzung erweitern die Studierende auch ihre mathematische Intuition.

Content of teaching

Es werden folgende Lehrinhalte der Stochastischen Analysis vermittelt:

Brownsche Bewegung
Stochastische Integration
Ito-Kalkül
Stochatische Differentialgleichungen
Markov-Prozesse

Kenntnisse aus einer einführenden Vorlesung in Stochastik.
