Competencies

Non-official translation of the module descriptions. Only the German version is legally binding.

On the one hand, students gain in-depth specialist skills by attending various further courses in the field of data science and/or in methodically related fields. In addition, students acquire a high level of intercultural competence as well as the ability to contribute and prove themselves in a culturally different work environment. They develop their professional, social and communicative skills in an intercultural and foreign language context.

Content of teaching

The students acquire in this module at the foreign college (in-depth) knowledge in the field Data Science similar to one of the lectures offered in the module pool computer science. Since the achievements are obtained in the context of a study abroad, the courses and the contents need to be coordinated with the respective program representative (Programmbeauftragte/r) in the form of a "Learning Agreement for Studies" which depends on the main teaching areas of the foreign universities.

Recommended previous knowledge

Necessary requirements

The prerequisite for participation in this module is a stay abroad at a foreign university. For achievements obtained in the context of studying abroad, prior coordination between the student and the participating universities is mandatory through a "Learning Agreement for Studies".
