Konstantinos (Kostas) Velentzas studied Sport Science and pedagogy in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and he earned his Ph.D. from the German Sport University Cologne (psychology and performance optimization). He is a certificated sport psychologist and he works as lecturer in the department of Psychology and Sport Science at the Bielefeld University since 2012. He has numerous publications, which are mostly related to the psychological training and its effect on performance optimization. As practitioners’ member of the German youth volleyball national team he took part in several European and World Championships.
