Das Seminar vermittelt einen konzentrieten Überblick über die Grundlagen, die Strukturen und die wichtigsten Bereiche der deutschen Rechtsordnung. Es behandelt insbesonere die Grundzüge des Verfassungsrechts und bietet eine Einführung in das politische System in Deutschland. Zudem soll ein Verständnis der sozialen und politischen Prozesse und Institutionen vermittelt werden, um überhaupt an aktuellen Diskussionen teilnehmen zu können. Nach Interesse der Teilnehmenden werden weitere Rechtsgebiete und Themen in den Fokus genommen.

Das Seminar richtet sich an Teilnehmende des Orientierungsstudiums für internationale Studieninteressierte mit und ohne Fluchthintergrund (NaWiOS). Nach Rücksprache mit der Lehrenden können ggf. auch weitere Interessierte an dem Seminar teilnehmen.
