230444 Diversity, Inclusive Pedagogy, and ELT (S) (SoSe 2019)

Contents, comment

Dealing with the diversity of students has always been a key challenge for teachers of all subjects, including EFL teachers. In this course, we will work jointly with experts in the field of Inclusion (from an international perspective) in order to develop our competences in this field. We will cover areas such as dimensions of diversity (including various "special needs"), wide and narrow ideas of inclusion in Germany and elsewhere and approaches to teaching diverse learner groups (Inclusive Pedagogy, Cognitive Map, Differentiation).
