230064 Big Data Beauty (Vertiefendes musikalisches Projekt) (S) (SoSe 2019)

Unter Anleitung professioneller Künstler*innen und Expert*innen für Datenanalyse entwickeln die Teilnehmer*innen dieses Projekts eigene Kompositionen, die auf Algorithmen basieren. Dies können Handlungsanweisungen für Sänger*innen und Instrumentalist*innen sein oder Programmcodes, die von einem Computer oder einem Roboter zum Klingen gebracht werden. Als Instrumentarium steht alles zur Verfügung, was Klänge erzeugt, von klassischen Instrumenten über Alltagsgegenstände bis zu Computern, Synthesizern und elektronischen Geräten. Die Kompositionen werden bei einem Abschlusskonzert öffentlich präsentiert, ob von elektronischen, humanoiden oder menschlichen Spieler*innen. Das Projekt steht allen Interessierten offen; für die Teilnahme sind keine Vorkenntnisse im Bereich Komposition erforderlich!
Hinweis: Die Teilnahme an dem begleitenden Seminar 230063 ist nicht verpflichtend, aber empfehlenswert.
