Voraussetzung für die Auswertung mit einem Datenanalyseprogramm ist die Erstellung eines sauberen Datensatzes, z. B. mit dem Online-Tool Unipark. In der Veranstaltung wird die Dateneingabe und Datenauswertung in SPSS praktisch vermittelt. Die vielfältigen Funktionen zur Datenerfassung, -aufbereitung und erste Datenanalysen werden vorgestellt. Praktische Übungen sind Teil des Kurses.
Folgende Themen bilden den Schwerpunkt der Veranstaltung:
• Aufbau des Programms
• Daten-, Syntax-, Ausgabefenster
• Variablendefinition
• Fragebogenkodierung
• Datenerfassung
• Dateien zusammenführen, Daten umkodieren
• Häufigkeiten und Diagramme
• KreuztabellenRegelung für die Teilnahme: Es stehen 30 Computer-Arbeitsplätze zur Verfügung. Die Plätze werden nicht vergeben oder reserviert, sondern jeder Interessierte kommt einfach zur ersten Veranstaltung auch wenn über das eKVV eine Überbelegung angezeigt wird. In der Regel bekommen alle einen Platz.

Kenntnisse in Windows, Umgang mit Dateien und Ordnern. Empfehlenswert sind Vorkenntnisse bei der Erstellung von Daten, z. B. mit Unipark.
