270146 Mood Disorders: From Neurotransmitters to Treatment (BS) (WiSe 2008/2009)

The objective of the seminar is to provide an overview of the current main neurobiological theories of mood disorders and their implications for treatment.

Requirements for participation, required level

The leader will present the didactic material and conduct the seminar discussions in English.
The participants are required to make a 45 minutes oral presentation on a topic that is relevant to the theme of the seminar. The presentations should be preferably prepared and delivered in English. However, presentations in German are also accepted. If the presentations are written and presented in German, the participants should kindly make available a copy of their written presentation to the leader of the seminar a few days prior to the seminar. The leader of the seminar will provide the participants with a list of recommended topics for presentations and suggested readings.

The initial coordinating meeting with the leader of the seminar will take place on DECEMBER 9 at the end of the course "Physiologische Psychologie" (Prof. Markowitsch) in the AUDIMAX at 11.45 AM.
