This course will focus on developing students’ abilities to understand express their opinions about the world around them. The course will make use of a variety of resources for example, textbooks, television, audio and more. In class time will focus on communication practice and discussion.
Prerequisites- Students must have completed Englisch für leicht Fortgeschrittene IIa, CEF level A2 or equivalent. Prior students have priority of enrolment, followed by International students and then others.
Workload/Assessments- Students will be expected to complete at least one hour of out of class work (homework) for each hour of study. All students must successfully complete all assessment tasks in order to pass this subject. Assessment will include (but is not limited to) attendance, participation, in-semester tests and a final exam. More details will be given at the orientation lecture.
