Das Seminar bietet einen Überblick über Inhalte, Konzepte und aktuelle Entwicklungen der Sonderpädagogik. Wie versteht sich die Disziplin, in welchem Verhältnis steht sie zur Allgemeinen Pädagogik, was sind Arbeitsfelder, welche theoretischen Modelle liegen sonderpädagogischer Arbeit zugrunde? Dabei spielt die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Begriff der Behinderung sowie mit der eigenen Einstellung zu Behinderung und Menschen mit Behinderungen eine zentrale Rolle. Konzepte der Pädagogik bei Lernbeeinträchtigungen und Beeinträchtigungen der emotionalen und sozialen Entwicklung werden besonders in den Blick genommen. Die benotete Einzelleistung im Ergänzungsmodul kann der zugeordneten Vertiefungsveranstaltung (M.5.1.3) absolviert werden.
