Die Veranstaltung vermittelt Grundlagen der Semantik und Pragmatik. In der ersten Hälfte des Semesters beschäftigen wir uns mit der kontextunabhängigen Bedeutung von Worten und Sätzen. In der zweiten Hälfte des Semesters werden wir dann aufbauend auf diesen Grundlagen sprachliche Bedeutung in konkreten Äußerungskontexten behandeln. Wir besprechen dabei zentrale pragmatische Konzepte wie Präsuppositionen, konversationelle Implikaturen, Informationsstruktur und Sprechakte.
