209707 Mastermodul VII: Nature conservation and Environmental Protection (S+Pr) (SoSe 2025)

Teaching the basics and concepts of nature conservation and environmental protection. After an introduction to the basics and current issues / major projects of nature conservation in Germany (seminar dates by arrangement), different nature conservation projects and forms are vividly presented on an excursion (21.07. - 01.08.2025 + additional dates (NP-Eifel, Geopark Vulkaneifel)) and the focal points / strategies of nature conservation are elaborated.

Vermittlung der Grundlagen und Konzepte des Natur- und Umweltschutzes. Nach einer Einführung in die Grundlagen und aktuelle Fragestellungen / Großprojekte des Naturschutzes in Deutschland (Seminartermine nach Absprache) werden unterschiedliche Naturschutzprojekte und -formen auf einer Exkursion (21.07. - 01.08.2025 + Zusatztermine (NP-Eifel, Geopark Vulkaneifel)) anschaulich vorgestellt und die Schwerpunkte / Strategien des Naturschutzes erarbeitet.

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen, notwendige Vorkenntnisse

Knowledge of the diversity of forms of organisms is a key skill in ecology. Refreshing and expanding species knowledge in the appropriately offered courses and small field trips is recommended.

Kenntnisse der Formenvielfalt der Organismen sind eine Schlüsselkompetenz in der Ökologie. Eine Wiederauffrischung und Erweiterung der Artenkenntnis in den entsprechend angebotenen Lehrveranstaltungen und kleinen Exkursionen wird empfohlen.
