The graduate students will perform a project in the following research areas: (1) neurophysiological studies in the field of motor control in insects, (2) behavioural studies in complex motor control tasks with insects, (3) behavioural studies in motor control tasks in humans, (4) simulation studies based on neuronal networks controlling different behaviours including memory architectures. Research Module A can be used as preparation for the Masters Project. The entire workload of the module corresponding to 10 credit points (300 hours) will be rendered during the time of the module.
Important note: Supplementary Module B and the two Research Modules must be taken in at least two different departments. A weekly seminar (Thursday 17:15 ¿ 18:45) for all students of the Graduate Programme Systems Biology of Brain and Behaviour will be an integral part of the Research Module.
This seminar we will have the following goals:·
