Do you get noticed for how good your English is? If not, would you like to be? For you,
is it not just about being able to say anything in English, but being able to articulate it
well with charm, flare and/or social and cultural sensitivity? Do you want to elevate
your language for important academic and professional situations or environments or
just explore the great frontier of your own articulacy in the vast yonder of the English
lexicon?
Through a variety of activities and approaches, this course focuses on helping its
participants build their advanced general active and passive vocabulary in order to
enable a better range of accurate and articulate expression. While vocabulary is the
main focus of the class, learning is contextualized within communicative exercises and
activities focused on advanced themes, thus providing an environment for practicing
general English communication skills at the advanced level as well.
