In diesem Modul werden Grundlagenkenntnisse zum Einsatz von SPSS in der empirischen Forschung vermittelt. Es handelt sich um einen Blended-Learning-Kurs, d.h. durch Lehrvideos und interaktive Übungen unterstütztes Lehren und Lernen, welcher mit einer Klausur als Modulprüfung abschließt. Die Studierenden erwerben Kenntnisse, Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten Untersuchungsdaten in SPSS aufzunehmen und für statistische Analysen weiterzuverarbeiten. Dies geschieht anhand konkreter Beispiele und Anwendungen aus unterschiedlichen Fachbereichen. Weiterhin wird den Studierenden die Bedeutung von Statistiksoftware für die eine adäquate Auseinandersetzung mit statistischem Datenmaterial aufgezeigt, sowie wichtige Begriffe und Denkweisen vermittelt. Darüber hinaus lernen sie beschreibende sowie einfache analytische Verfahren mit Hilfe von SPSS durchzuführen und zu interpretieren. Im Vordergrund steht die Aneignung technischer Kompetenzen.
Die Kursinhalte sind so konzipiert, dass diese Kompetenzen von Studierenden mit geringen oder keinen SPSS-Vorkenntnissen mithilfe eines umfangreichen Online-Lehrmaterials (Videolerneinheiten), entsprechender Übungsaufgaben, Literatur und weiterführenden Links erworben werden können. Neben dem umfangreichen Lehrmaterial wird auch begleitend eine persönliche Betreuung durch Tutorien, Sprechstunden und E-Mail-Support angeboten.
Den Erwerb der genannten Kompetenzen weisen die Studierenden mit der Abgabe entsprechender Übungsaufgaben (Studienleistung) und einer unbenoteten Abschlussklausur nach (Prüfungsleistung).Weitere Informationen unter: https://ekvv.uni-bielefeld.de/sinfo/publ/modul/47019741
