230631 Practical Forum: Cultures in Process (S) (SoSe 2006)

In this forum students will be introduced to and participate in the planning and organisation of an academic conference. To develop the students' practical and professional skills in an academic context, there will be on the one hand presentations by experts on the various components the organisation process comprises (development of conference programme, funding, marketing etc.). On the other hand students will apply this knowledge by participating in the organisation of a conference on the thematic focus of the Master of Arts British and American Studies - "Cultures in Process" - in November 2006.

Please note that attendance of this course is possible only in conjunction with the Colloquium Cultures in Process.
