Please note: There are usually two or three VPS classes available in English. However, you only need to take ONE of these!
In this class, we will cover the basics of research methodology, necessary for your future classrooms and your Praxissemester. Even though the focus will be on qualitative methods, we will talk about possible applications/benefits of quantitative and mixed methods as well. Together, we will work on research questions (whats, hows and whys) as well as tools and methods (e.g. observations, interviews etc.). The specific topics will be decided in class depending on your interests (e.g. student-centered practices, (levels of) interaction, social justice and inclusion, digital and analog media etc.).

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
