Cognitive control, sometimes also called executive control, refers to a class of neuro-cognitive processes that are required if habitual control of perception, memory or action is insufficient. Classical experimental phenomena of cognitive control are investigated by the antisaccade or Stroop task.
This seminar will be held online only, using BIS, Zoom, et al.

We will read and discuss several review papers on cognitive control. Two questions in relationship to each paper have to answered by each student (upload in Lernraum) - answers will be discussed during zoom live meetings (likely every 2 weeks on the standard seminar time slot).
The seminar targets at students from the MSc program in psychology - with basic knowledge about cognitive neuroscience (aquired during the BSc).
