Nähe und Distanz
Seit einem Jahr beschäftigt uns die Thematik zur Nähe und Distanz wie nie zuvor. Wir werden aufgefordert, soziale Kontakte zu meiden. Welche Facetten hat Isolation und wie drücken Menschen das aus? Und wo ist neben der gebotenen Distanz auch eine besondere Form von Nähe entstanden?
Nach der Kameratechnikeinführung erforschen die Studierenden fotografische Möglichkeiten und die Wirkung des Zusammenspiels von Blende, Licht und Verschlusszeit sowie Bildbearbeitung am Computer. Sie lernen Nähe und Distanz als Gestaltungsmittel in der Fotografie einzusetzen und entwickeln eigene konzeptionelle Bildserien.
Das Motto lässt einen großen Spielraum zu. Die Studierende können unter anderem inhaltlich bedeutsame Zeitdokumente aus dem Corona-Kontext, aber auch ästhetische Auseinandersetzungen mit der Ferne von anderen Menschen, Reflexionen des Abwesenden, Zeugnisse der fotografischen Zuwendung zum Naheliegenden und dem eigenen Lebensumfeld, aber auch ganz freie Interpretationen des Themas fotografisch ausarbeiten.
