230333 Reading Theory in Literary and Cultural Studies: An Introduction (S) (SoSe 2021)

Contents, comment

The class provides an introduction into the critical reading of (literary and cultural) theory. We will discuss general questions about the nature, function and application of theory, exchange research and reading strategies, and turn to selected theoretical texts and approaches from the contemporary field of literary studies.

Please Note: The course will be taking place at the scheduled time using LernraumPlus and Zoom. Please note that all sessions will take place in April and May. We will begin with two block sessions in the last week of the term break (9.4 & 10.4.2020) and then continue on a weekly basis until the end of May. There will be no classes in June & July
