230753 Englisch: English for Social Sciences, Level B2/C1 (S) (WiSe 2019/2020)

Contents, comment

We will read short texts from some selected areas of social sciences. Particular attention will be given to areas which present difficulties to language learners at an advanced level, such as abstract theoretical terms and concepts and their relations.

Students are invited to send me emails at: mary.kenney@uni-bielefeld.de, stating particular areas of interest or difficulties (language-wise) as well as other suggestions for the course. I will work these into the design of the course as far as this is practicable.
