- "How can I motivate my pupils to read?"
- "My pupils are speaking German so often - can I change that...?!"
- "How can I make writing assignments more motivating?"
These are questions that any English teacher will probably ask him- or herself at some point of their career. If you think, 'The sooner the better', then this is the course to be in!
This course provides an overview of the different areas of English language teaching that need to be considered in lesson planning, covering the receptive skills of reading and listening as well as the productive skills of speaking and writing. The aim is to explore and discuss how theories you encounter in your studies can be applied in every-day school life, and to get experience in the areas of lesson planning and material design. You will also have the chance to discuss questions about school life in general and an EFL teacher's job that you consider relevant for your future job life.
