Liebe Mitglieder der Fakultät, liebe Lehrende, liebe Studierende, liebe
Gäste,
hiermit laden wir Sie herzlich zu unserem diesjährigen Sommerfest der
Fakultät Mathematik ein. Am Donnerstag, dem 4. Juli, möchten wir ab 16
Uhr mit allen Studierenden, Mitarbeitenden, Lehrenden und Freund:innen
der Fakultät den Sommer einläuten und das gute Wetter genießen.
Auf der Fläche zwischen W und V bieten wir für einen kleinen Preis kühle
Getränke und Essen vom Grill an, natürlich auch in vegetarisch und
vegan. Natürlich dürfen Sie ihre Familie und Angehörigen sehr gern
mitbringen. Für die jüngeren Gäste bieten wir wie jedes Jahr eine
Hüpfburg an, ebenso wie andere Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten. Über
mitgebrachte Salate und Kuchen würden wir uns wie immer sehr freuen.
Wir würden uns freuen, wenn Sie sich in Vorhinein per Mail mit
Personenzahl und dem Mitgebrachten unter
sommerfest@math.uni-bielefeld.de anmelden oder Sie tragen sich in die
aushängende Liste in V3-128 ein. Spontane Besuche des Festes sind
natürlich auch herzlich Willkommen.

******************************Dear members of the faculty, dear teaching staff, dear students, dear
guests,
we cordially invite you to our annual summer party of the Faculty for
Mathematics. On Thursday, July 4th at 4 PM, we would like to celebrate
the start of summer and the good weather with all students, employees,
teaching staff and friends of the faculty.
On the area between W and V we will offer cool drinks and food from the
grill for a small price, also vegetarian and vegan of course. You are
welcome to bring your family as well. For our younger guests we will
offer several things to do, including a bouncy castle. We’d be happy if
brought salads or cakes.
We would appreciate, if you could write an email with the number of
people coming to the summer party and what you bring to
sommerfest@math.uni-bielefeld.de or you enter your name in the list
that’s been put op in V3-128. Spontaneous visits are welcomed aswell.

Moreover, we want to draw your attention to a series of upcoming events that YWTS is co-organizing with Mathe-Gleiko and Prof. Dr. Rebecca Waldecker that are open to students as well as early career researchers. Rebecca Waldecker is Professor for Mathematics, esp. Algebra, at Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. She obtained her PhD from Kiel University with work on group theory. In summer term 2024, Prof. Dr. Rebecca Waldecker is visiting Bielefeld's Mathematics Department as Gender Guest Professor. She is offering lectures, scientific talks, workshops, as well as individual coaching sessions, see flyer attached. Depending on the participant’s languages, the events will be held in English or German.
