Liebe Studierende,
heute öffnet das Wahllokal für die Wahlen zum Senat, zu den Fakultätskonferenzen, der SHK-Beauftragten sowie zur BiSEd-Konferenz (Lehramtsstudierende) und der zentralen studentischen Stellvertreterin der Gleichstellungsbeauftragten (Studentinnen) in der Zentralen Halle des Universitätshauptgebäudes. Während der Öffnungszeiten von 9:00 bis 16:00 Uhr (bis einschließlich Donnerstag, den 18. Juni 2026) sind alle wahlberechtigten Studierenden eingeladen zu wählen. Dafür ist nur ein Lichtbildausweis bzw. der Dienstausweis mitzubringen.
Wahlberechtigt sind all diejenigen Studierenden, die zum Stichtag 27. April 2026 ordentlich immatrikuliert waren und in das Verzeichnis der Wahlberechtigten aufgenommen wurden.
Beantragte und vollständig ausgefüllte Briefwahlunterlagen müssen bis zum 18. Juni 2026, 16:00 Uhr im Wahlamt eingegangen sein, z. B. durch die Abgabe im Wahllokal oder im Wahlamt, per Hauspost oder auf dem Postweg. Sollten Sie Briefwahlunterlagen beantragt haben, sich dann aber umentscheiden und doch lieber vor Ort im Wahllokal wählen wollen, dann können Sie dies während der Öffnungszeiten des Wahllokals tun. Bitte bringen Sie hierfür, wenn möglich, alle Unterlagen mit, die Ihnen nach Beantragung der Briefwahl zugeschickt wurden. Sie erhalten im Wahllokal neue Stimmzettel und können dann in Präsenz wählen.

Dear students,
the polling station for the elections to the Senate, the faculty conferences, the SHK representatives, the BiSEd conference (teaching degree seeking students) and the central student deputy of the Equal Opportunities Officer (female students) in the Central Hall of the main university building opens today. During the opening hours from 9:00 to 16:00 (up to and including Thursday, 18 June 2026), all eligible students are invited to vote. All you need to bring is a photo ID or your work ID.
All students who were properly enrolled as of 27 April 2026 and have been included in the list of eligible voters are entitled to vote.
Requested and completed postal voting documents must be received by the Electoral Office by 18 June 2026, 4 p.m., e.g. by handing them in at the polling station or the Electoral Office, by internal mail or by post. If you have applied for postal voting documents but then change your mind and prefer to vote on site at the polling station, you can do so during the opening hours of the polling station. If possible, please bring all the documents that were sent to you after applying for postal voting with you. You will receive new ballot papers at the polling station and can then vote in person.
General regulations and information on the election procedure can be found in the first election announcements and the FAQs on the Bielefeld University election portal. Lists and candidates also have the opportunity to introduce themselves on the election campaign portal.
In addition, the staff of the Central Electoral Office are available to answer questions.
