Since October 2017 the Faculty of Biology has a a new member:
Prof‘in Dr. Andrea Bräutigam from the Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK Gatersleben) has been appointed W2 Professor for Computational Biology.
She holds a PhD in genetics from the University of Michigan and performed postdoc research at Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf.
Her research focuses on the analysis and statistical modeling of RNA-seq and genome-seq data to understand the evolution of complex traits in plants.
The Faculty of Biology warmly welcomes Andrea Bräutigam.
