On Friday, 11 November 2016 the assessment within the BGHS evaluation proccess 2016 took place at the BGHS. Five evaluators on the subject graduate education were our guests at the BGHS. They got an impression of the BGHS academic and study programme. Among other things the experts had meetings with doctoral researchers, professors and as well members of the BGHS board and the vice-rector for research at Bielefeld University.

Voluntary evaluation process of the BGHS 2016
The evaluation process of the BGHS 2016 consists of multiple steps. It started in January with an online survey. More than two-thirds of the BGHS's doctoral researches participated in the survey. In April and May 2016, interviews with BGHS supervisors followed. The results of the two data collections were the basis of a report, which informed the reviewers for the commission.

The visit of the evaluators has been the final step in the voluntary evaluation process of the BGHS for 2016. The experts will submit their final surveys by the end of the year.
