Call for Papers and Posters:
Done with Eurocentrism? Directions, Diversions, and Debates in History and Sociology
8th Annual Seminar of the Bielefeld Graduate School in History and Sociology (BGHS), 30 June to 2 July 2016, Bielefeld University, Germany
The interdisciplinary conference Done with Eurocentrism? will offer a platform for examining our trajectories away from Eurocentrism, for evaluating the sustainability of our strategies of diversifying our methodological toolboxes and facilitating theoretical border-crossings, and for turning our attention to knowledge produced in many languages and centres around the globe.
The conference invites paper and poster proposals that touch upon one or more of these topics within various (trans)disciplinary contexts in history and the social sciences. For the CfP, please see:Call for Papers and Posters.
Researchers across a range of disciplines and stages of their careers who are interested in giving either paper or poster presentations at the Annual Seminar should submit an abstract of no more than 250 words along with a two-page CV to the conference organisers at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline for proposals is15 January 2016.
