In addition, 30 credit points have to be gained within the scope of the individual supplementary area. At least 20 credit points have to be gained in the form of modules or other programmes, and 10 credit points by individual courses (§ 13 BPO). The subject-specific regulations (see navigation) may include deviating rules, in particular mandatory options in the form of a "structured supplement".

The figures in this column are the specialist semesters in which it is recommended to start the module. Depending on the individual study schedule, entirely different courses of study are possible and advisable.

Explanations on mandatory option: "Obligation" means: This module is mandatory for the course of the studies; "Optional obligation" means: This module belongs to a number of modules available for selection under certain circumstances. This is more precisely regulated by the "Subject-related regulations" (see navigation).
