Competencies

Ziel dieses Moduls ist es, Studierenden einen Überblick über die wichtigsten Bereiche der Wirtschaftswissenschaften zu geben, die zentralen Fragestellungen, die im weiteren Studium behandelt werden, aufzuzeigen und Studierende mit den grundlegenden Methoden der wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Analyse vertraut zu machen.

Content of teaching

Die Vorlesung 'Einführung in die Betriebswirtschaftslehre' gibt einen Überblick über die Grundlagen der Betriebswirtschaftslehre (BWL). Neben der Vermittlung elementarer betriebswirtschaftlicher Kenntnisse wird das Ziel verfolgt, den Studierenden den Zusammenhang zwischen den verschiedenen Teilgebieten der BWL zu verdeutlichen und ihnen so die Orientierung zu Beginn des Studiums zu erleichtern.

In der Vorlesung 'Einführung in die Volkswirtschaftslehre' werden zentrale volkswirtschaftliche Begriffe und wirtschaftspolitische Instrumente erläutert sowie die Bedeutung von volkswirtschaftlicher Analyse und gezielten wirtschaftspolitischen Eingriffen aufgezeigt. Weiter werden die Studierenden mit den grundlegenden mikroökonomischen und makroökonomischen Zusammenhängen vertraut gemacht. Studierende sollen einerseits in die Lage versetzt werden, die Logik wirtschaftlicher Zusammenhänge besser zu verstehen, andererseits für die nachfolgenden Veranstaltungen aus Mikroökonomik, Makroökonomik und Wirtschaftspolitik vorbereitet und motiviert werden.
