Philipp Kulms is a PhD student in Prof. Kopp's Social Cognitive Systems group. His research interests cover the interaction with interactive intelligent systems to achieve cooperative human-machine tasks. In particular, he investigates on how technology that is increasingly intelligent and adaptive challenges user trust. Philipp has a background in psychology and computer science. As a member of the human-machine interaction project in the leading-edge cluster it's OWL: Intelligent Technical Systems (OstWestfalenLippe), Philipp adopts user-centered design methods to improve Industry 4.0 human-machine interfaces and helps industry collaborators designing them. Along with Kirsten Bergmann, he teaches a lecture tutorial (392161) and seminar (392159) on human-machine interaction.
