Education

10/2007 – 1/2014 Dr. phil. (summa cum laude) Bielefeld University. Title: “Causes and Consequences of the Gender Specific Migration from East to West Germany”. Submitted in April 2013, defended in January 2014. Supervisors: Prof. Dr. Martin Diewald and Prof. Dr. Herbert Brücker.

10/2007 - 9//2011 Graduate Program of the Institute for Employment Research, Nuremberg. Enrolled as PhD student at the Otto-Friedrich University Bamberg.

10/2000 – 9/2007 Qualified Sociologist: Major in Sociology and minor in Economics and History of Art at the University of Konstanz.
