• National Coordinator for the German study of the European Social Survey (ESS) (2013-2017)

• Member and head of the scientific advisory board of the German General Social Survey (Allgemeine Bevölkerungsumfrage der Sozialwissenschaften, ALLBUS) (2008-2015)
