Contents, comment

In der algebraischen Geometrie untersucht man geometrische
Fragestellungen unter Verwendung algebraischer Methoden. Geometrische
Objekte und Eigenschaften werden dabei in algebraische übersetzt. Die
klassische algebraische Geometrie ist eine wichtige Grundlage für die
moderne Theorie und liefert sowohl ein gutes geometrisches Gefühl als
auch Inspiration für spannende Fragestellungen und Lösungswege.
Wir möchten in dieser Vorlesung geometrische Eigenschaften affiner und
projektiver algebraischer Varietäten und ihre Entsprechung in der
algebraischen Sprache vorstellen und erste wichtige Resultate
erarbeiten. Zahlreiche konkrete Beispiele und Aufgaben werden die
allgemeinen Argumente veranschaulichen.

Requirements for participation, required level

Kenntnisse in Algebra und elementarer kommutativer Algebra. Letzteres
kann bei Bedarf auch in den Übungen erarbeitet werden. Bitte sprechen
Sie uns an, falls Sie unsicher sind. Gerne passen wir die
Voraussetzungen an die Hörer an.
