Information: Due to the current situation, we will try to hold the seminar by means of live video conferences (the official tool is zoom.us).
Watch and Help: How to infer tasks and produce helpful social behavior?
In this seminar we explore different ways of generating (social) behavior within a rich virtual home environment as well as learn models from observations that allow the inference of the mental states that caused this behavior.
The seminar will first review and discuss state-of-the art methods for behavior generation as well as interpretation before splitting into multiple smaller groups that each work on either learning suitable behavior generation or interpretation within a given virtual environment.
This seminar will be held online via regular Zoom-Meetings, initially with all participants, and later primarily in the smaller groups.

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
