Contents, comment

Ohne empirische Forschung läuft die Wissenschaft Gefahr, keine neuen Erkenntnisse mehr produzieren zu können. Dabei hängen die Erkenntnismöglichkeiten im entscheidenden Maße davon ab, mit welchen Methoden die zu interpretierenden Daten produziert werden.
Die Veranstaltung Sozialwissenschaftliche Methoden der Datenerhebung befasst sich intensiv mit verschiedenen Formen quantitativer und qualitativer Forschung. Es werden verschiedene Datenerhebungsmethoden (z.B. Fragebogen, Interviewtechniken, Beobachtungsverfahren) vorgestellt und deren Einsatz in Abhängigkeit von der Problemstellung reflektiert. Damit sollen vertiefte Kompetenzen in empirischer Forschung vermittelt und die Seminarteilnehmer in die Lage versetzt werden, auch komplexere empirische Forschungsarbeiten zu verstehen und kritisch zu analysieren. Darüber hinaus erwerben Sie Methodenkenntnisse zur selbständigen Bearbeitung kleinerer Fragestellungen, die Sie z.B. für Ihre Masterarbeit oder im späteren Berufsfeld nutzen können.
