The majority of the students at the University have had years of experience learning English. Their language skills are not bad and they usually have no problem understanding English. However, over time and through the lack of use, most students see a stagnation or decline in their productive language skills (especially speaking).
Have you fallen out of practice and need to “wake up” your language skills? This course could be for students who were at a higher level before and need some help getting back or for someone who never advanced past the B1 level and wants help improving. The course does cover some grammar and usage, but is mostly focused on providing an environment with more speaking practice so that students can move on to the B2 level with confidence.
This course will be especially useful for those who received a score in the higher B1 range on the basis of a C-test, without taking any other previous B-level courses.
The precise course contents will be tailored to fit the participants’ needs and will be defined at the beginning of the course.
