New University Electoral Committee confirms incumbent Rektor for a further four years

Today (30 April), Rektor Professor Dr.-Ing. Gerhard Sagerer was confirmed for a second term by a large majority of the members of the University Electoral Committee, consisting of the Senate and the University Council combined. 57th place in the Times Higher Education Ranking    

Bielefeld University has again been rated among the world's best young universities in the latest “THE 100 Under 50”. The East Westphalian university takes 57th place in the ranking, which was published on Wednesday evening (29/4/2015).
